Location was good. Staff were lovely
Lovely foyer- modern and bright. Room was very basic and decor was old fashioned. I paid £15 for breakfast- it was awful. A real waste of money.
Staff and room excellent; service and food also very good. Also I had requested atificial fibre pillows and gluten free bread for breakfast; both were supplied as requested. The location of the hotel also suited me very well.
Two points:-- There was a late night dance after a wedding in the hotel; because of the location of my room, it was quite noisy and therefore difficult to get to sleep! On arrival, I was given room keys which didn't work and I had to trek back to Reception! Minor issue but irritating at the time!
The staff are very welcoming and don't make you feel like they are doing you a favour by allowing you to stay there. Food is very good as is the service.
Some rooms are feeling a bit dated and could do with a tidy up.
I stayed here on an adventure trip where a heritage group travelled to bushmill and Dunluce castle and the city walls. I thought the food was amazing.staff incredible and value for money excellent. I would stay again and have told all my friends....im also from Derry
We needed more milk as we like our tea in the bedroom but the staff took care of it instantly
Convenient location and comfortable location
Breakfast could have been better. Scrambled eggs were dry and were the only option for eggs. Service on the first morning was very poor with a lot of things not on the tables eg milk, butter etc. No great rush to help either..on the second morning service was great with Dermot.
The staff were friendly and efficient. The room, clean, well designed and comfortable. Food excellent and cannot think of any single bad point.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Really like the snug bar!
My only complaint was i could hear wedding celebrations which was unbelievebly loud. Fortnately the wedding ended at 1am. This would not have been a problem ordinarily howver the purpose of my stay in the waterfoot was one of business and study so i had an early start and a long day on the sunday.
Clean comfortable room of reasonable size. Good breakfast, friendly staff.
No safe in room, despite indication in directory of services (in room) that there would be one. Use of WiFi internet connection required registration with BitBuzz service provider. Irritating background noise outside window of bedroom, possibly a large extractor or air-conditioning unit fan.
Reception staff excellent, restaurant staff very pleasant
WiFi access still very poor. noise from machinery continuous through the night keeping me awake. minor point, but caesar salad as served is not a caesar salad.
We find all the staff very friendly and helpful and we will return. The food was excellent but the menu has not changed for a very long time.
There is a smell of dirty mops in the corridor which airfreshners cannot disguise.
Staff very friendly they even started breakfast early on sunday morning to accomadate our earlier departure to a dancing competion.
The location, staff comfort and facilities of the Waterfoot where just what I needed to recover from an operation. The room was large and well equipped for our needs and as I have family in Londonderry/Derry I will return to the hotel when I can.
Very tasty dinner, including all courses, breakfast tasty too.
Rooms need bit of moderation. Waitraisess in the restaurant kept forgeting the orders, there was no clear comunication beetwen waiting staff.
Our recent stay at the Waterfoot was excellent, and we found no reason for complaint at all, thankyou very much.
I booked 2 double rooms and one twin room. On arrival, I was informed the booking was for 2 twin and 1 double room. Unfortunately I only had my booking reference number and not a print out of the booking details for proof. The lady on reception would not accommodate us with the rooms and thus we were put in 2 twin rooms and 1 double. This I was extremely disappointed in.
